  Inner Line Permit (ILP) Reminder: All Indian nationals require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Arunachal Pradesh. Foreign nationals require a Protected Area Permit (PAP). We recommend applying for your e-ILP online before starting your journey.

  Advance Booking Deposit: Pay a non-refundable deposit (typically 30% of the accommodation fee) online. This advance secures your room and protects host families from last-minute cancellations.

  Green Tax (Eco-Levy): A flat contribution is added to your transaction. 100% of this fee goes directly into the Garung Thuk Fund to support wildlife and forest conservation, Nature Education, and village waste management.

Once your payment is processed, an instant confirmation receipt will be sent to your email and WhatsApp containing:

  Host Contact Details: Full name, phone number, and direct contact details of your assigned Sherdukpen host family.

  GPS Coordinates & Directions: Pinpoint Google Maps coordinates and landmark directions to guide you directly to your homestay door in Shergaon.

  Check-in & Meal Preparation Brief: Information on how to pre-order authentic home-cooked meals (such as local red rice, Pito noodles, or fresh orchard fruit dishes) prior to your arrival.

Upon arrival in Shergaon:

  Village Registration: Present your ID proof and ILP details to your host family for standard village registration.

  Remaining Balance: Pay the remaining 70% balance directly to your host family in cash or via direct UPI transfer during your stay.
